Overview
I designed this eLearning module for an independent restaurant group. This company takes great pride in their product knowledge and emphasizes continuing education Team Members and Leaders, but noticed their wide selection of tequila and mezcal was being underutilized. We determined the root cause was that Front of House Team Members lacked awareness of different types of tequila and how best to pair them with menu items.
As part of a larger, four-session training course that covered the history, production, aging, tasting and pairing of tequila, I developed this eLearning for servers and bartenders to use as a quick reference, or as a tool to engage guests in the selection process, complete with a gamified review at the end.
